After an enforced six-week break Colls finally returned to action at Alder House.
Lee Edmunds out jumped the goalkeeper to head Colls in front on 58 minutes.
Collieries had five minutes remaining, when Phil Mooney hit a shot from 25 yards, Hackney dived too soon and the resulting goal made the game safe for Colls.
Colls are at home to Barnoldswick Town on Saturday, kick off pm.
