House hunters in Wigan were invited to attend the opening of Countryside’s highly anticipated Hamilton Square show village last weekend in Atherton, where house prices start at £179,950.
The event, which was open to all members of the public, allowed potential buyers to enjoy a first look at the new Gloucester Street showhomes whilst taking the opportunity to speak with an Independent Financial Advisor.
Unveiled at the launch were two three-bedroom showhomes that have been beautifully decorated to compliment the open-plan spaces in each. The New Stamford is a link-detached home set across three storeys and boasts a private master suite on the top floor, including a large dressing area and ensuite. Whilst the Ashwell is a link -detached, light and airy home that showcases three good-sized bedrooms, the master with an ensuite bathroom.
Potential buyers were also provided with information on the buying initiatives that could help them secure a new home, such as the Government's Help to Buy scheme, which allows buyers to purchase a home with just a 5% deposit.
Martina Collins, Regional Sales and Marketing Director at Countryside, commented: “It was great to see so many local residents take advantage of the advice that the Financial Advisors had to offer, as they prepare to take their first steps onto the property ladder. There’s a number of buying incentives available to house hunters, particularly first time buyers for whom the Help to Buy scheme has been a huge success.
“Hamilton Square is already proving to be a hit with families and young professionals, who want to live at a beautiful development with excellent transport links to major cities such as Manchester and Liverpool. I hope that everyone who visited the event found it useful and wish them the best of luck as they embark on this exciting journey.”
Once complete, Hamilton Square will comprise 64 exclusive three-bedroom homes, with six house designs in total. Each of which will come complete with Countryside’s high specification as standard - including double integrated electric oven, 5 ring Gas Hob, integrated fridge-freezer, chrome effect sockets with media points and USB charging points, chrome effect downlights, Porcelanosa tiles to bathrooms, French doors and skylight windows*.
Amongst the home designs is the New Weaver +, which is an update on the popular New Weaver design to feature an ensuite to the master bedroom and generous bedrooms.
